In 1978, Tina Hutsenpiller, a senior at Mt. Juliet High School, was working at Cedar Creek Yacht Club as a waitress. Being the youngest of 4 kids in a single mother household, college and higher education was simply not in the financial cards for her. One of the founding members of the yacht club, Mary Elizabeth Kelloway, saw potential in Tina and got her a job interview with an agency in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Kelloway even went as far as taking Tina to the Green Hills Mall and bought her all the essentials needed for a professional career - including a new wardrobe. Tina got the job and started work the same day she graduated from High School. She went in for a half-day of work, then graduated that night.
Over the years, Tina worked at multiple insurance agencies in the Nashville market before landing at The Kneeland Agency. The Kneeland agency was located in Berry Hill and was very ingrained in the country music scene - insuring many country music executives and talents.
In 1992, Tina made the choice that she wanted to spend more time with her kids and less time commuting and Hutsenpiller Insurance was born. However, her relationship with the Kneeland Agency did not end there. Hutsenpiller Insurance completed the purchase of the Kneeland Agency in 2008.
Since then, Hutsenpiller Insurance has grown into the cornerstone of the insurance marketplace in the Nashville area. With a laser focus on customer service, Hutsenpiller Insurance and team members have been blessed to win multiple awards including;
